Dear Sir,

In your book “The Alchemist”, you wrote on your writer’s note that the center of the book is this phrase,

“When you want something, the universe will conspire in helping you to achieve it.”

Then, you recalled your own story about how you always wanted to become a writer and finally make it.

For many years, I truly believe that phrase, until a few months ago. You see, for this past few years, I learned about Inner Heart and its connection to The Hand That Write it All. It’s such a blessing for me to learn this lesson and when I talked about The Alchemist with my friend, I come up with this.

It’s not the phrase, “When you want something, the universe will conspire in helping you to achieve it.” that should be the center of your book, it should be this much simpler phrase. In fact, it’s just a word.

Because  we don’t know what best for us, only The Hand knows what best for us, because He write us from the beginning of time and only by follow His signs during the journey, we’re a passage in the Book that the Hand write.

Whether or not it’s what we wanted, it doesn’t matter, because it’s what The Hand wanted us to be or to have. Santiago only wants to be a simple shepherd in the beginning, but The Hand wrote him to find the treasure.
